Ordered my first controller p4 mega set

Can’t wait to receive it ! After all the research I feel like I made the right choice . Even my lfs who stocks Neptune said it’s the Cadillac of controllers . He went out of his way to set an account so I’m great full ! Just have to figure out how I’m going to approach the setup

Same here! Ordered the Megaset with a doser and extra powerbar 2 days ago, regardless of much pushback from Neptune fans when I was inquiring about GHL.

Not many GHL owners compared to Neptune, but litteraly not a single one GHL owner that I talked to regretted their choice.

I'm about 9 months in with my Megaset and have been loving it. It seems every few weeks I think of something else I can use or setup with my ProfiLux.

Just remember to have patients when it comes to shipping. ;)

I personally know someone who has been using a lot of stuff connected to his Neptune Apex and wants to jump ship to GHL, someday he will.

Apex has the "better" user interface but GHL's equipment is just better.

I'd rather struggle to figure out how to set it up than struggle how to keep it that way.
Once you figure out how GHL does things it's really quite simple.

I´m not sure of that if it comes to more advanced tasks - Many things that needs programing in Apex is inbuild functions in GHL and when it comes to very advanced programming - the programming language of GHL are much easier for a non-programmer to understand and use - IMO

I think you guys missed out on what "better" means. I personally don't care for the user interface "prettyness" that Apex Fusion provides over GHL. It's up for debate on which app looks better to interface with.

Apex's Fusion exists in a colored and cluttered-with-information world while GHL Control Center is more black, white and grey and more minimalist in design.

Neptune clearly put more of their resources into packaging and less on hardware reliability. My opinion.

I did my P4's setup tonight. I tried to skip steps and figure it out on my own. It didn't work out...

Follow religiously this video, step by step, exactly as explained.

If you check out the link I posted on my initial reply, you'll see you have various ways to setup the controller. PC is just one of those ways. :)

Thanks all for the help ! I finally have figured it out ! Two questions do I leave my lighting switch as always on and use the software built into the hydra? Also with the Nero 3 powerhead it won’t show me power usage like my rpm powerhead does ? Is that a compatibility issue ? Here’s a pic to show off my setup ! Thanks again .
