Is it normal to order pods from a reputable site on the 19th and still not receive them as of today? Thank god I made an impromptu trip to a specialist fish store for food or my fish would probably have starved. First time ordering them so I don’t really know protocol for these particular items.. what are some of your experience? similar wait times? I don’t even know if they’ll be alive when I get them so I’ll have to update that part.. /rantoff

What has communication been like with the vendor? Have they given you an ETA, or to expect a delay, or has it been radio silence ever since you ordered? If so, have you tried calling or emailing them??

I will admit I have not hounded them enough. They are very active both in solicitation of sales and advertising name brand On Facebook. I PMd them there asking for a phone number to the actual brick and mortar storefront hoping to get in touch with someone and was ignored.. I’d rather not post their name and smear them but they seem to be very popular. I got a great deal on pods I just was unaware my order wouldn’t ship for a week and then not get here in a hurry after that. hindsight I would have saved my money and combined it with my frag trip had I known it would take so long.

I do still not have a current date of delivery, website just shows when it shipped. No tracking number that I can find either in either website or email. Thank you for reply btw lol.

Ive purchased from Algae barn, Pod your reef, and I think aquarium depot before and never had any issues. One time they did take a few days to send me the shipping info but that was during a 50% off sale which I understood. Not sure who you purchased from but I would check my junk mail just in case or try to contact them and see if you somehow just slipped through the cracks.

thank you, it was 1 of the 3 vendors you listed. I suppose I should be thankful they are at least legitimate lol

I order from copepods.com and it takes a while as they are actually in Canada and the shipments have to clear customs. could It be something similar?

I know Algae Barn (for example) typically ships via USPS Priority Mail, and that can take up to 3 days for delivery. If it's been longer than this since the website shows your order shipped, I'd be on the phone with them first thing tomorrow AM.

Sometimes you'll get a shipping notification and the UPS/Fed Ex etc hasn't even picked up the order yet so could be a day or two after that to actually ship. if you haven't received it within 3 or 4 days of the shipping notification I would definitely start talking to them. Ive heard most companies are good about DOA claims but have not had to deal with it yet. Hopefully it works out.
