Orp port on apex

Hi everyone I have the apex controller and it has a orp port I was wondering what was that port used for and for the apex users what are the features u are using this controller for heard of people using to activate a pump to feed the corals thru out the day how is that done thanks in advance hope to hear some good info

Usually ORP controls ozone. Not sure why anyone would use it to control feeding

Now that's a run-on sentence! The ORP port is used for an ORP probe :) It is dual purposed so you can instead use it for a second pH probe. ORP is an abreviation for the oxidation reduction potential of the water. It is commonly used if you use ozone. I use mine to tell me if something goes drastically wrong with the aquarium.
