Since no one else will post mine runs 370 to 390, I have seen guys with beautiful tanks in the 400s though

Mine rose and then leveled off for a while. Then started to rise again outside of the Safe range. I found that the probe needed cleaning then. Did a vinegar bath to clean then put back in. It starts low again and increases until it levels off back in Safe range.

Mine is 450-479 I have cleaned the probe and it lowered to 440, but it's not back up to 479. Not sure why its so high.

I read through Randy's article and in 1 paragraph he helped me make up my mind on ORP...

"So is ORP measurement and control recommended for nonscientists who also happen to be reef aquarists? My suggestion is no. There are interesting things to learn by measuring ORP, and I recommend that everyone with any interest read the following sections to better understand it and decide for themselves if it is worth doing or not. Nevertheless, I have not measured ORP in my aquarium for years, despite having the tools at hand. It is simply not very high on the list of things that one can usefully do to maintain a high quality reef aquarium, in my opinion."

No ORP probe for me

182ish for heavily stocked 350litre fowlr before addition of ozone. Am using an Enaly 200 Plus controller/generator which was about $160 off AliExpress. I had to replace original probe I ordered ($24) to the more expensive one Enaly recommend on their own site ($50). The first one was giving readings about 200 lower than expected for say tapwater and proving sub zero for my tank which meant I couldn't set the automated treatment.

I found this article of interest though, here they add about 200 to initial readings and was perhaps the issue with the first probe https://in-situ.com/blog/orp-field-measurements-reporting-redox-potential-eh-correctly/

I do like the effect the ozone has on the water colour, no more slight tea tint which used to appear after a while.
