Has anyone tried the PH or ORP probes from AliEpress?
I am seeing most of the PH probes are in the $5 - $10 range, and the ORP probes are in the $15 range. Much cheaper than the normal probes we have been buying.
I am ordering the conductivity probe to monitor salinity (requires rewiring) and might try one of the orp probes as well.

Following along as I’d like to know how well they work.

Can you share the "re-wiring" ? I am trying to figure this out also .. BNC to 4 pin mini-DIN .. which pins does the probe connect to ?

is there a link to the other thread?
There is but don’t get your hopes up, lol!
I am already having issues with the AliExpress salinity probe and it doesn’t look like the vendor is very interested in doing anything about it.

I have tried the cheap ones and they we not worth the savings for me as I needed to replace them sooner as they started to drift badly. I like Pinpoint and Apera probes

I had similar experience with AliExpress salinity probe.
I’ll have to give the Apera probes a try, Thanks!

You get what you pay for.

I'd have zero confidence in a cheap probe.

Even $100 probes can be problematic. It's not until you get to $1000 probes you get accurate and repeatable results.

Perhaps cheap is all you need, but I wouldn't automate anything based on their output.

Pinpoint is what I use for orp & ph also. Just replace them every few years, or when they won't calibrate anymore.

This. I can't even with an aliexpress probe. Hard NO thanks.
