Orp reading 850

Guys,
I guess my probes faulty because it’s reading 850 on the Milwaukee probe and I’ve not noticed the generator on

I checked with 256mv solution and it’s 520
It’s about a year old

Sounds like a testing error for some reason. Might be a probe issue, or the device is misadjusted.

sounds like your probe might really be acting up if it’s showing 850 when the generator is off. Since the 256mv solution test gave 520, which is closer to normal, I’d trust that reading more. Maybe try cleaning the probe or see if it needs replacing - after a year, that’s pretty normal

Sounds like a bad probe.
Odd that it's double the standard.
Your 850 may be 425 with that observation.
Does the orp go down when you feed at the 850 #?
Get some new calibration solution.
I use these as they are sealed packets and not a bottle.
Let us know what you find.

I haven’t observed when feeding so I don’t know
I have a packet of 256 but it’s been mixed and stored for 8 months so doubt it’s accurate but for this it gives an idea at least
