Hi, decided I would delve into the world of Ozone and got myself a Weipro 200 (rated up to 2000 ltres) off Amazon.

Tank is 550 litres with sump and equipment remote in my garage.

I connected it up as per diagram last Friday.

I have an Apex ORP Probe and the graph for the last few days is below.

I have had the Ozone running at a fairly low level during daytime and my ORP graph looks like this - no noticeable increase.

I can smell Ozone coming out the top of the skimmer so I know it's injecting but the ORP value doesn't appear to increase - if anything decreases.

I put the probe into a glass of RO water and got a reading on 320 (you can see that on the graph) so I don't think it's the probe.

Any thoughts on why the ORP value is not increasing and what I could do, if anything when the Ozone is switched on ORP drops but that maybe just the pH going up. ?

Many Thanks

I've used the same generator. I found that I needed to force air through the ozone generator with an air pump.

My setup was air pump -> air dryer (just a small RO canister filled with dessicant) -> ozone generator -> skimmer

gbru316 - many thanks - what Air Pump did you use - does it need to be a strong one ?

fyi: It takes weeks, not hours, to realize any ORP difference. Also, If you can smell it after adding an air pump -- it's too much. Turn down ozone until you can't smell it. Skimmers can only absorb so much.

Many thanks for your replies. I have ordered a small air pump which I will connect to the Air Dryer.
