Wow 100%?
That is a ton of light!
Well, I don't see a lot of tanks, aside from my local fish stores, and a couple of my club mates so far, so I really don't know what a lot of light is. I borrowed out clubs par meter, and think I got 400 at the surface and 200 at the sand, but I didn't really trust it. Your tank looks brighter than mine Todd, don't you think?

I think what we are seeing is the difference between single and dual chips
Not quite sure
Channels 1 and 3 add a ton of 18k light

Thank you so much castAway
My tank its 32"x24"x20 tall and I have it 12" above the water , do u think 50% on all channels it's to much to start with ? Or you think it's safe ?
Oh man, too hard to tell not knowing what your corals are used to, or what species you have. Reefs can and do go days without light in nature, so just be conservative; start low. Damage happens very very quickly. By the time you see it, it'll get worse. Coming back from damage takes a long time.

So, starting low and ramping up slowly is not going to hurt anything.

This pic was a couple weeks ago. I have two Atlantic v2 fixtures about 10 inches over my 120g, 24 inch deep reef tank.
