Thinking about adding a orphek natura iCon inbetween my 2 noopspyche k7 pro iii on my 4ft lagoon tank but wanted to make a thread to hear from the people who have had them running for awhile now & see how they are holding up & if you are liking them.
My main concern is wether or not they fixed their issue a lot of people were having with the previous lights where LED channels were burning out around the 2 year mark. From everything I’ve seen the quality of light, colors, & the par are excellent but for the price of the unit I would really like to get more than 2yrs out of them.

I haven't had mine for 2 years yet (have the Naturas been out that long??), but I do love my Orpheks! I have Naturas on the new tank and Atlantiks on the big reef. I am very happy with them

I just ordered my orphek natura yesterday! Super stoked talked to a few different guys who also run them & they had nothing to say but great stuff. I’m getting together stuff to mount both the natura & two noops directly to a 2020 aluminum T rail & hang it from a shelf or ceiling.

If anyone wants to share their schedules & set points with me that would be amazing! Also how high are yall mounting them? I’m thinking of hanging mine around 1ft off the water

I have the Atlantik V4 gen2 on my system and really like them a lot. They were actually an upgrade from the V2 I believe so essentially all of the internals were changed out. I have replaced several diodes over the past 4 years and even jumped a few of them when they became problems in one specific location. At some point I'll just replace with new or less-used versions... potentially consider the Amazonas instead. But I love the upgrade-ability of the light and the DIY fix-ability as well. I'm guessing that a stock V4 gen2 would not have as many diode burnouts but I'm guessing on that... I still have the original power supply and only 2 or 4 cooling fans ever turn on despite the fans, controllers, temp probe, diodes, etc. all being new. The later models of the V4 gen2 (and certainly the iCon and Natura) have newer diodes that purposely can not be run at 100% (e.g., they are 10W but can only be run at 5W). That is supposed to help the burnout issue as well. I don't have firsthand experience with that but it makes sense.

Anyway, my experience has been great with the hardware and the customer service. It will be nice to move to the wifi version at some point and have a better controller app but for now the gateway will suffice.
