I was wondering what would be the best light (value for money) to give more color to my corals. Current light was 2 X Radion XR30 PRO G4 and 1 XR15 PRO G4 and my tank was Waterbox 6025 180 gallons.

What is the best complementary light for my Radion?

Quanta helix is priced very competitive and it is “light years” ahead of all the other led bars

Quad core led tech + price
They give you the latest led tech at a very good price

Tagging along. I looked at quanta’s site and videos. They do not describe if you have any channel control or app to customize the led output in terms of blue/white/ etc %. Is this a feature? I know orphek offers this.

RB are so overpriced and the XHO melt. The only reason they are known is because of BRS scams.

let’s count that as a vote against rb. Helix is relatively new. Maybe someone with one can chime in…

Their spectrum is fixed, but you have dimming control via 0-10v. I find it unnecessary to change spectrum when it’s designed properly. As far as the bars are concerned (Helix) you can mix the two different spectrums to achieve a very full/robust spectrum.

I just got a reply from the owner, Minus9 you’re correct. I intended to use this as a fill in for my radions. Would need to tune the colors to be sure to get the look and spectral blend that I prefer. Too bad as otherwise looks like a great lighting option.

This whole post looks like a marketing stunt!!!!
How? From a company that has no marketing campaign, just word of mouth from first hand experience and satisfied customers? Maybe it’s as simple as someone liking a product and letting others know about it. Do a search for “Quanta” and see how many responses that have “I’ve never heard of them” in it.
I saw a post a couple years ago about them having never heard of Quanta, to buying a couple lights. I’ve been a satisfied customer ever since and have spread the word as much as I can to help out. I don’t get paid, nor a discount, just the feeling that I’ve helped others discover a quality product that simply works from a small company. This is how it used to work when I started in this hobby, so it’s a tradition that I proudly carry and uphold.

It was a joke
