I have reef brites and I think the only difference in the two I have found is mounting options and the Orphek uses 5 watt Led's vs reef brites 3 watt Led's. There might also be a difference in wave length in the 420-460nm, but seems like I remember it being very minimal. I am planning a tank upgrade when my credit card is paid off and I was looking at both these. One thing I do very much like about the Reef Brites is they can be dimmed to 5-6 different settings. When I looked at the Orphek I didnt see that as an option although I might have missed that when looking at BRS website.
