Hey there. I have 2 XR15 G6 Blues on an RMS Rail. I ordered 2 AI Blade Hybrid mounting kits. My OR4s came today and mounted them easily with the supplied long screws in the kits. Simple. Now... I just need to figure out proper mounting height along with intensity of the OR4s. That's why I am here and still trying to find answers. Trial and error with a PAR meter from my LFS soon.

I should take delivery of two OR4-90’s today let me know if you have questions about them. I purchased one Blue Plus and one Reef Day Plus to go over an Innovative Marine 40L. I’m going to take PAR measurements to see if I want a second Blue Plus to get SPS PAR levels but they recommended two for my purposes.

I was going to get one AI Grow and one AI glow but didn’t like a few things such as the cost, limited LED colors in the two lights, led glare and how low they have to be mounted which restricts tank access.

Mmm, I am a sales rep for Orphek and the only thing I am aware of is that there is a dimming driver available for the OR4 but they would need a device capable of controlling a voltage range from 0-10 volts. We do make the OSIX controller which uses the same app as our new Icon models and this device will control up to six lights of the same length. Up to now, I have not heard what improvements have been made to the OR4 but it is ready to ship.

I got a 2nd OR4 bar and installed it today. Looks sweet. I put some zip ties on the3d mounts as a safety but i dont think they can break.

Also, Orphek sent me a cable extender toSince the OR4 cables are very short which allows for the driver to be on the ground.

The 2nd OR4 bar i got was shipped directly from china and has the new long cable which fixes the issue with the short cable. No extender needed for that one.
