I have a 17g Rimless- the tank is exactly 60cm long. I was considering using one 60cm OR4 sky blue as a supplement. Can this bar rest directly on the tank rim?
*the waterline is approximately two inches below the edge.

You can get the aura mounts for this. It's acrylic and looks great on the tank.

I don’t believe they have dropped all the info on it. I contacted Orphek about the or3 in early Feb and they told me about the or4 and rough drop date. So I prepaid to get on an unofficial pre order.

Yes the acrylic tank mount does not span that far. I'm sure you could DIY something with another piece of similar thickness acrylic to extend it.

Would 36" or4s have enough spread to put them on a 48" frag tank 15" deep 12" above or do i need 48". 36" would just fit better

36 fits way better. I use 48” for my 63”

After speaking to Tommy ( Orphek YK rep) I have ordered a 120 OR4 Violet light bar. Not many people seem to have the Violet and can't find much info on the net from people using them. I put my trust in Tommy. My intention is to give a bit more colour pop.
I intend to move the blue sky at the front to the rear of my Naturas and replace it with the Violet bar. The violet bar will be angled towards my reefscape at around 45 degrees to it.
Will see how that goes.

I have violet and IMO they do add a lot of "pop".

Really like my two OR4 bars (blue plus) with Naturas in between. Although if ai had to do it again I might get the blue sky for the front.

Tank is 59×30×21.7
I run 3 or4 uv/v 48" with 2 Photon 50's.
I run uv's at 100%. When on the tank is brighter overall. Great colors as the whites wind down.
