Starting my sump build!

I've ordered most of the equipment I need. I'll be building my sump soon and then I'll be getting some nicer corals. So maybe people will start following... :focus:
Here's a list:
IWAKI MD40RLT WATER PUMP (JAPANESE MOTOR)
Level switch x2
Single phase solid state relay heat sink
HOB 800gph overflow box

I have a 10 gallon tank and have the glass, need to get down to building it.

The system will be soft plumbed, because hard plumbing is horrible to take apart and I'm not dealing with that. I alsi have to remove my piece of junk canister filter, which turns out aren't really for saltwater. It's just a nitrate farm
Well, building will commence soon enough.

Just got my iwaki!

Nice tank! I love bowfronts, I have a 36g bowfront. I will be following.
Thanks! I think bowfronts are really cool, but they make photography a bit more challenging.

I believe I have seen them labeled as "cat eyes" before. But just like a lot of zoas there's multiple names out there I'm sure. I have a bunch of them too.

Wish I could help you but I don't know my zoas very well. They are nice, what ever they are.
Yeah they are, And if you look closely they have a rainbow striped pattern that comes off as light brownish green.

Looked up cats eyes, doesn't look the same, I like to call these TARDIS gold. In fact. If they don't have a name, that is their name. Anybody want some authentic
TARDIS gold zoas? Triple checked the lineage, even though this is my TARDIS gold mother colony... so there's no point...

Figuring out the why: Has your primary reason(s) for keeping a saltwater aquarium changed over time?
