Osmolator 3 on rimmed tanks

Hey guys! I am thinking about getting an Osmolator 3, but I have a rimmed tank with just an HOB and am not sure if there is enough space between the water level and the top of the tank for the sensor to fit. Any suggestions? Is anybody running this setup?
 
Saltwater Aquarium
I have sensors on my rimmed tanks, I cut the lip off the rim to accommodate the sensors.
