Thanks for your time!

Long, long time user of the Osmolator Universal 3155.

Today, I noticed that the indicator light was red. I cycled the power, primed the pump, and everything worked as expected - water filled to the expected level. Not sure why it went to a too low/ red state.

Now, I've noticed that the system is identifying a low water state, but the pump isn't running - I can't hear the noise that I usually do.

Time for a replacement pump?

Too low just means the last time the pump ran, the 10 minute pumping time limit was exceeded, this can be from a bad pump, but it can also mean the system needed more than a couple gallons, something is leaking, or the pump was airlocked and used a lot of the time to prime.

Sounds like you need to replace the pump. I keep a spare one on hand because they tend to just suddenly fail (much faster if you use Kalkwasser in your ATO). Good thing they aren't overly expensive.
