I started a 20L two years ago, and then swapped out the tank for a 40 Breeder. What is your goal for the tank? I kept this tank mostly softies for the motion with 6 fish. Are you planning to paint your stand or leave it natural? I made my stand low and I’m not running a sump like you.
Very nice tank my friend, I’d also like a 6 line wrasse.I’m planning on having a mixed, mainly soft coral and 4-5 fish. Two clowns, watchman goby and cuc. Deciding on another fish but I’ll add very slowly. Still cycling. The Family would love the movement.
Those are called strawberry or ball anemones. They are invasive. So along with these tube worms which I like, I noticed this baby anemone looking thing ( maybe a rock flower anemone), it appeared the next day of placing the rock, was able to take a picture (crappy, I know) with my wife’s phone in the QT tank. Then I went to show our youngest son and it wasn’t there. More than likely moved somewhere else. I looked like a baby BTA. The tips Glowed a little. If I see it again I’ll take abetter shot. I asked for the rock which came out of the same tank as the clown when I picked it up locally. And ideas?
Scrub them off? Those are called strawberry or ball anemones. They are invasive.
Up to you. If you keep your nutrients in check you might be ok. Some people say they sting corals, others say they don't. I think they're pretty and mine mostly stayed in my sump so they didn't bother me.Scrub them off?
