Hey guys just went on vacation and my orp randomly plummeted. I got someone to FaceTime and everything looks fine. Is it likely an issue with the probe?

I’m typically at 350 unless I carbon dose then it gets back…should I be concerned?

It's likely a probe with something on it, like a snail, or some other sort of test error. That very sudden transition from normal behavior to that nearly straight down drop would not likely reflect a change in the tank. Even a dead organism would not do that. Dumping a lot of antioxidant into the tank might, such as vitamin C would do it. .

I fed before I left but the standard amount. All
fish looked normal, no labored breathing or laying during factetime. No bacterial bloom. I did top off the sump. Maybe it messed with the probe? Ugh going out of town is such nerve racking when stuff like this happens. Last time I had carbon that got sucked into my skimmer which messed it up for a few weeks and caused a bloom.
