Hey all! Had a little fun in the office today and thought I would share.
I have been sitting on a Deep Blue 12" cube for some time, and decided to try a pico for my office desk.
I believe it's rated as 7.5 gallons, but with rock and sand it has about 5 gallons volume.
Going pretty basic, with an AC50, truaqua nano heater, hydor 240, temp probe thermometer.
Here she is in place:
Decided to go with Hawaiian black sand, and grabbed some rock from my 75 and sump.
For lighting, I went with (and am impressed with) a ReefBar Pro with Sunsetter controller. It has separate programmable moons, blues and whites. 10 3 watt Cree LED's
All Blues
All whites
80% blue, 30% white
And here is how she looks on the desk!
Will load it up with corals from the home tank; likely Zoas and lps. Probably stock it with a hi fin red banded goby with Randall's pistol shrimp.
For now, waiting for it to clear and cycle (if it even will).
Anyway, hope ya dig it and thanks for looking!
