I recently won this:
https://www.algaebarn.com/shop/starter-packs/refugium-starter-pack/
And here is my thought: a remote fuge. I have a 5 and a 10 gallon tank available for the cause. The 10 may be in better shape if I want to see anything inside. It will sit above the current display and have water pumped in and drain back to the display.
The display and surround area:
(Picture when I take one)

My questions are these:
1) should I put the pump in the display and push water to the fuge, or in the fuge and pull it up?

2) any ideas on hiding the plumbing?

3) pom pom or ogo? (Sea lettuce is a close 3rd)

That sounds interesting... how are you hiding the pump in the display?

If the fuge will be above the display just make sure you can really dial in your return flow, otherwise it's gonna be bubble city!!! Ask me how I know haha

I am not sure how you would get a pump in the fuge (above the tank) to pull from the display? Like a closed loop with a one way valve somewhere?

I'm not. Hob filter that I may pull and put a skimmer in it's place.

Thanks for the tip. Hadn't thought of that.

Fuge plan is on the top of the shelf next to it. May fit next to it, then I could hate the tops the same height. Wouldn't have to worry about overflowing that way.

I'd have to make sure, but I may have a pump that could run wet or dry, just like a closed loop.
