I am drilling holes and adding an overflow box for my tank. My tank currently has a blue backdrop on the back of the tank. It looks to be some sort of hard plastic, possibly even a lightweight acrylic. My question is if I should drill the hole through the tank and this backdrop or do I need to cut out a section of the backdrop the size of the overflow box? Hopefully what I’m asking will make sense to someone. It’s hard to describe. Thanks.
