I’m in the process of ordering a 96x48x48 acrylic aquarium and I’m just wondering if anybody can give me some pros and cons on the different overflow options. My last tank (400 gallons) used a synergy reef overflow. I’m really curious to see if anybody has side overflows and how that works. My goal is to eliminate the plumbing coming out the back of the aquarium as my fish room is being made smaller. This aquarium will be in the wall with my equipment being behind in my storage room. The pic attached is my 400 before it broke and flooded my basement.
