I am having issues with my frag tank, i bought the tank used and i am NOT a handy guy when it comes to plumbing or physics. Sadly i think my current problem involves both of those subjects.
My tank is a 60" x 18" x 12" tank with 2 corner overflows and one central return. My issue here is the general suction noise the overflows make when the water drains into the sump below. I have tried adding 90 degree pvc pieces (without gluing it down) to the intake section with some improvement in noise, but not the best.
Does anyone know any quick fixes for this situation, i dont mind if its a soft constant noise, obviously the quieter the better, but it drives me crazy when its a constant running water sound for 15 seconds and then it sounds like a massive toilet is flushing in the tank.
Let me know if you guys know how to help, thanks!
