Going from HOB sump to under stand sump and will need a siphon overflow box for my undrilled tank. I’ve seen eshopps and cpr but looking for recommendations from those who have or do use one. I will be running around 400gph pump. Thanks in advance.

I drilled and added the 3 drain Eshopps - Eclipse L Overflow box to the back of my tank, so I could set it up Bean Animal style. Runs great and silent.

Appreciate that but this is an established running tank. Can’t now be drilled. Not sure it even can be if tempered.

You probably get more help if you change your thread title to ask about eshopps and cpr overflows help

Oh, my bad misread that in your original post.

i run a cpr on my 240 works great the only down fall is the need for back up lifter pumps they dont last forever but you can get them on amazon. i have had the u tube style and they work well but need to restart the syphon when bubbles build up.

I had an Eshopps PF800 and it had 400gph out of the return nozzle. That was just about perfect to keep bubble build up in the U tube and in the 8+ years that I used it, it never lost a siphon or caused a flood. I did have to put duck tape on the top of the U tube however because my tank lights made algae grow inside the U tube. It did work well.

My CPR is nothing but trouble with the aqua lifter clogging and failing. My eshopp has never failed ever
