Ozone generator wet?

It is a BRS, really a RODI chamber filled with silicon beads that turn pink when they are wet. I have my Ozone generator and the dryer and the air pump in a cabinet and the reactor sits next to my sump.

What size tank you have it on and how long it take to notice the effects?

It's only a 90 with a 60 gallon sump, I saw a big difference in water clarity in 24 hours

Wonder if that’s my issue. Just not waiting long enough. Still concerned it’s wet but flushed it with rodi and air.

Tank is about 420g with rock and sand displacement (including sump). Maybe time is just the issue here.

Nice tank, for me Ozone is one of the best things I have done, I have a couple leather corals, witch shed sometimes, the ozone takes care of it. I never have to run carbon, I keep it around but haven't used it in a long time. My water is crystal clear

That’s my goal man. I want it so bad. Lol using the skimmer my orp went up great. Over a 48 hour period orp was in the 370s with the Poseidon on a 6. Now I have it in a 8 on the avast and can’t get it past 300.

My tank is 350g and never went above 5 on the settings.

I never really paid attention to orp. I went off of water clarity.

Are you using avast reactor or skimmer? And how long did it take for you to notice a difference?

During normal operation moisture should not get into the unit. I just use the ozoztech resin cartridge. Periodically you should flush the unit, ozotech makes a kit but all you do is flush it with Di water and then blow out the remaining moisture with a can of air https://ozotech.com/cd-cell-cleaning-kit/. I would be concerned about corrosion if you have had moisturizer sitting in there.

Moisture started about 3 days ago and I did an rodi rinse yesterday. I think it’s my check valve. I noticed it leaked so I got a new one coming next week.

Here's one that I made for a friend that's a die-hard Neptune fan:

Mine runs through the reactor and then feeds into the skimmer.

I was able to see visual results the very next day and perhaps 3 days max to achieve maximum results.

Are you seeing bubbles swirl around in the rain diffuser at the top of the reactor, where the circulating pump pushes water and O3?

Yup! I talked to avast support, sent them pictures and videos, and they said it was setup perfectly.

Maybe my tank just extra dirty and it’s going to take some time.

I just moved the output of the reactor to my big skimmer. Maybe that will help.
