Ok, I've set up and been running ozone on my 180g reef tank now for about 3 weeks. I have a Poseidon 200, running through a cannister dryer full of dessicant, and then into a dedicated input port of my skimmer, meant for ozone input. For the last three weeks I've keep my ORP steady at 330. So today was tank cleaning, water change day. I vacuumed my sand bed, and sucked out about 15 gallons of old tank water. I refilled my tank with fresh saltwater, and kicked all my return pumps back in, skimmer back on, powerheads back on, etc. I noticed after about 20 minutes of the tank being back up and running my ORP reading was way down to 270. I kicked my ozone back on and after a few hours checked my ORP again and it's at 255????? what the heck is going on here? I've never seen this in the few shorts weeks I've been running it, where it drops the more I run it???? Thoughts? Should I replace the dessicant?
any insight would be great.
