Hey guys,

How much par would you suggest for a paletta pink tip, to get the pink tips?

Thanks!

A healthy growing Paletta pink tip should have plenty of tips that have the pink reach down a good 1-1.5".

At 300 or above you should be able to achieve that. If you can't get that at that level your spectrum is incorrect or you don't have a original Paletta pink tip. There are plenty of fakes that only show pink in the very tips.

I just noticed the colony in the picture is yours! That's the nicest paletta pink tip I have ever seen! What type of lighting do you have it under?

Mine was at the top.of the scape with a ton of flow and light (Halides and Radions)
Used to frag a 2 inch circumference every couple months to keep it from shading corals below it. Colony and all its frags all STNd followong anminro chiller mishapnwhere it was the only coral affected.
