I have a small colony of palys that hitchhiked on LR. The colony grew at leat 50% larger over last 4 weeks or so.
Today I found one shriveled up and spewing white stuff. Is it dying?
I know those can be toxic so should I remove the white slime from the tank?

No changes in the tank. Ammonia, nitrite at zero. Nitrate around 5. Ph 8.2ish.
Live stock: CUC and 2 tiny clowns.

Thanks.

It's most likely expelling waste. I've never seen it white before but I wouldn't be overly concerned. Palys have a feeding response and ours used to expel waste a few times a week.
