I stand corrected. I found and re-read the article where I learned about this and sure enough, it’s P. Toxica

Funny how the mind can alter things after a few years…am I the only one lol ?
For the mind altering things...no mine does it in anywhere from 3 minute to a couple days usually after that its safe.

It should also be mentioned that palytoxin can also concentrate in algae/dinos and other things that can aerosolize when a tank is 'cleaned'

There’s actually evidence that the toxins themselves are produced by microbes associated with dinoflagellates or other organisms, like palythoa. Ostreopsis is a documented source of palytoxin.

And there’s been discussion a number of times on the reef beef podcast of experienced maintenance professionals working with aquariums with palythoa, where the toxins were aerosolized and they experienced symptoms consistent with palytoxin poisoning.
