Alright so my Urchin often removes Zoanthids from where they were before and I'd always put them on a new plug without any ill effects to me, well after I glued them down I noticed a smell a very FOUL smell and It was coming from the zoanthids so I put them outside and went on with my business, Right now I am burning hot out of no where and I feel dizzy and dazed. Could Palytoxin be fatal to anyone my age (14) I cleaned everything with HydroGen Perioxide Wipes and the smell is gone.

Palytoxin has a very bitter metallic burning odor

Armydogracing I would change that graphic to say intravenous injection of nitroglycerin as cardiac is very dangerous and isosorbide (di)nitrate only comes as a pill for human use - that cited treatment study was done in ferrets!

I'm fine! Luckily I went to the ER after reading this and they gave me some type of drug to fix it. The drug made me really sleepy and when I woke up I was no longer burning hot and I could breath normally thanks for the help guys!

Happy you are well and have no after effects. I have had skin problems in the past. Gloves and eye protection always..for both zoas and palythoas. At least that is what I do now
