I started the tank 18th of June and figured that we we good to go with the first 2 small critters the 8th of August.
I've had 5 small hermits walking around since middle of July, have seen the first diatom breakout - hair algae are still a tad of a chore but finally controllable.
I have seen a big fat slug that must have hitch hiked with some of the LR, but he seem to like being in the dark under a rock.

A cheap rodi plant, that seem to do the job
My skimmer is in the DT, I'll probably move it down in the sump when I get a good idea where to have it; for the time being and while my bio load is small and things are settling in, I'll keep it up there.
