I have a little 5g desktop FOWLR inhabited by a clownfish and I was thinking it would be nice to put a BTA in there. Would a PAR38 be sufficient to grow a BTA?

Depends on the spectrum and strength of the bulb, it seems to me. A reef or a grow type of bulb would be sufficient, I would think.
