Hello everyone. I’m currently using Hanna test for my parameters Nitrate, Phos, etc. I hear these are pretty accurate and very popular within the reefing community. Just wondering what you all think and is there a better choice. Thank you for your knowledge and experience.

I think hanna's are the best, but frankly the reagents get crazy expensive if you need to buy several reagents per month so I use them sparingly. I mostly use salifert tests, they are easy and accurate, often matching the hanna test IME

Hanna salifert and redsea are the ones I usually tell people to use!

I do not recommend Hanna calcium (causes folks too many issues) and I do not recommend testing magnesium at all (too error prone).
I use and recommend the Hanna nitrate and phosphate.

Many folks like the Hanna alk, though I use a more accurate and cheaper DIY alk titration.

Some Hanna tests may not be what you think they are, so ask carefully before getting others (e.g., unsuitable iodine, copper only good (IMO) for medication levels, etc.).
