I was wondering if all of y'all who are successfully running an LPS dominant tank could comment on what you parameters are (Calc, Alk, Mg, Phosphate, and Nitrate) and if you dose anything (amino acids etc.) or feed your corals. A FTS would also be helpful!

Well for what it's worth I will share.

Someone with wildly successful LPS told me to dose iodine, specifically potassium Iodide (I am using brightwells iodione).

Bought the SF iodine test kit and started dosing on a doser. Had great results since then, the LPS really turned around. Here is a shot of the elegance loving life...

Get ready for the iodine haters to post, but I am a believer after experiencing significant and rapid results.

Here is an ok picture of some of the LPS on 'LPS Island'

Lastly, about twice a week I hit the tank with coral vitalizer. That plumps em up.

Of course the most important are the big three, calcium, alk and mag. But I am assuming those are covered.

Hope this helps someone as it helped me
