in those readings, all the ammonia ones are wrong

:)

its torture isn't it...not knowing which params we can believe or not.

get a seneye, then transcribe those readings into the graph and they'll say:

ammonia is .003 maximum .006 on any given day, hour, month and year.

My torch coral was doing well, feeding on Reef Roids, then the peppermint shrimp started pecking at him and saw then stab into him with there feeler foot like it was feeding. So I removed both of them immediately and got a watchmen goby instead. Don’t want to take any chances. The torch also developed a second mouth. It seems like it is slowly splitting but not sure. Last weak the color started to gradually fade on one side. Not sure why. Maybe like post stress from the peppermint shrimps. Seems like conditions are stabilizing so I’m unsure ‍♂️

Got a Orange Florida Ricordea and a sharknose Goby. Parameters are stabilizing nicely. Got multiple new heads on a couple of the Zoa frags. Which is encouraging but my torch losing color. Still feeding and extended so time will tell.

Rhodactis :) nice piece. Color fading on the torch likely lighting issue.
That is what I was thinking. I think the LED light panel that comes with the Coralife Biocube is not as strong as I was hoping.
I got a kessil Tuna A80 coming Monday
My Eagle eyes are growing quick! Two new heads already thanks man

Glad everything is working out for you :)

Your initial assessment was pretty spot on:
" Pretty sure I did the classic not waiting for it to cycle. I have all Beginner, easy to care for fish. So I hope they can tough it out. They seem super happy and very active and feeding good so I just hope I don’t come across total system failure.".

Whenever you set up your next aquarium, I would build off that assessment and not some of the other dangerous/incorrect information posted in this thread. In the future, this is a great resource if you haven't seen it yet :). Otherwise, glad you weathered the storm and happy reefing!

Possibly the other way around. To high of light. Try the sand bed for a week or two. Easy way to tell, did color fade start on the side closer to the light or away from the light?

Hmmm! I really feel like the light is just not super strong because it’s the factory one. That would be great but I’ve had to move my Zoas, that were closed more, On the lower parts closer to light and they opened more within the day. Which leads me to believe the light is just simply not super intense. It was a little on both sides, nothing that clearly pointed to one side or another so not sure. And originally the torch was just above sand bed so it was pretty close to that level.
