This fish has been in my main display for several years at least. I was looking for flukes and i found these guys that looked like white elongated specs to the naked eye in the bucket after the fresh water dip. I hand transferd the fish so I assume they cam off the fish since it was the only thing in the water and I found at least afew of these in the bucket. There isnprobably more. The fish is malnourished but has been getting worse for many months so it needs treatment im just not sure what so I was trying to figure out what it has. Thanks I appreciate your help.Look up isopods. Some are good, some are bad. Some are species specific parasites. If it came off the fish, my guess is it is not good. I'm not sure what med is needed, but I would not put the fish in a MD until it was treated to make sure none of the little buggers make it into the tank.
