looking at getting this parrot fish i saw at the fish shop, unsure what breed but from research i believe maybe a quoyi so í wondered if people could send photos of their parrots in their tank and how long they have had them as í have read they might die quickly, also if your one is peaceful or not? thanks everyone

They do get huge, need a very large tank.

Mine is going on year 3. Super peaceful fish, ive had a few tangs not like it(clown and gold rim) and would just pick on it. I removed those tangs. active swimmers, I wouldmt put it in anything less than 6 feet long. They are hit or miss, some just do well. Other say they make it 2 years and randomly die. Im still walking on eggshells when it comes to this fish when I turn on the lights.

I question the marine collectors photo, but more of a pastel colors in my opinion. I believe parrots can go through phases like wrasses though.
