What is everyone's opinion on the prizes I won during the partner Member raffle?

I currently have the Red Sea Max S400 LED (110 Gallon). It comes with the C-Skim 1800 and It is a nightmare for me to calibrate it every single time I empty it.

I just won the Tunze DOC Skimmer 9410 and the ATB 1050A Skimmer. The ATB seems a little overkill since it is rated at over 500 gallons, however, it may just work fine.

If you have a choice, which would you use and why?

I did! Super excited! Not sure if I upgrade with one of these or trade someone for something I need.

@DSC reef

You have any thoughts on this? I remember you recently starting a Skimmer thread. What did you end up going with?
Since I did not win;) we're going with a reef octopus. I'd make your decision based on tank volume and bioload. IMO I think a skimmer that's to big won't work that well.

Well then it’s between the Tunze and the C-Skim.

The Tunze says it needs no adjusting, as it auto adjusts.

Anyone have experience with this?

I love ATB skimmers and one of the best performers out there and I have owned allot of skimmers. It is way to big for that tank and might just get allot of crud in the neck. Maybe you could trade it in for a 840 v2.
That said the Tunze would be better for your size tank.. Tunze are good skimmers and very stable, I have owned a few.

congrats

Can anyone chime in in their opinions between the Tunze DOC Skimmer 9410 and the C-Skim 1800?

Which is easier to clean, more quiet, and requires less adjusting?
