This was the initial interview at Paul’s home on Long Island. As things worked out, a few months later, I visited Paul at his home on Long Island.
I listened to all of the first interview and will finish listening to the one just posted.
My takeaway from this: stress, gut cavity bacteria, immune system

Here is a post from Paul on Humblefish website thread:

“Humble, on my morning walk this morning I thought of something we forgot. Well, you forgot because I am old so I get a pass.”

“We discussed the food and gut bacteria connection to immunity but we didn't discuss the second part of immunity which had to do with the physiological aspects of the fish. The security fish need to not become stressed, mainly the aquascape which is just as important as the correct food.”

“I'm sure if anyone watched that video, they hardly saw any of my aprox. 30 fish. Thats because there is a cave system in my tank that encompases the entire tank so the fish feel secure. That is very important and I cringe when I see a tank with a few rocks where the fish can't get out of sight. And, No! PVC elbows are not the answer. :)”

“The Possum Wrasses, Ruby Red Dragonettes, 6 Line wrasses, Mandarins and others are rarely seen in my tank. Thats just the way those fish want to be. They like to be like Betty Davis (Google her) and very mysterious. If they are forced to stay out in the open, even if we look like Angelina Jolie, they don't want to see us.”

“I mean, Have you seen Humble close up?”

I don't disagree. My takeaway over the last 30 years reading Paul's posts, and others, is that one needs to have a method and be consistent with it.

Not constant churn or change - just whatever road or path you choose to follow stay on it.

BTW not saying your takeaway is wrong as I think we are somewhat on the same page. Hope your day is well.
