I bought a pax Bellum second hand for my frag tank, in the online manual it says that the system works from the bottom upward. I am going to daisy chain a calcium reactor into the pax Bellum for double Co2 benefit and was hoping I could run the inlet at the top and outlet at the bottom instead of the instructions saying bottom in top out.

does anyone foresee a problem with me running it like I’m thinking?

I have the same reactor and have it plumbed as written in the manual. Not sure what the difference would be, and I’d be curious, too. The old Tunze MAR I have was instructed to be plumber that way, too, but it had a reason to be, in that the water entered through the bottom and created a vortex motion to spin the algae. They do have a social media presence, so you might try asking them there. I know they’re on FB.
