PBrT Terror in Qt

Hellllo

I have a Powder Brown (very small) in Qt (20g) with a clown head wrasse.

They are almost done their 30 days of copper.

However the pbt has recently become a terror chasing the wrasse everywhere (I have lots of pipe cover)

My concern isnt really for the qt but for when I release him into the 125 (6 feet)

Is this behavior likely to continue? should I sell before putting into community tank?

It depends on a myriad of factors, but it’s not a good sign. Any other tangs in the 125 now? A lone or tank boss powder brown, powder blue, goldrim, or achilles is bad news..

No it would be the only acan class.

Current tank has a naso and a yellow eye kole, in the tang class.

Why did he show agression after I had patched him up lol.

Had fin rot and other bacterial

Just completing 30 days copper + general cure + week of furan 2 and all its glory lol.

I already moved my Yellow Tang out because he was the bullying to my 50 gal softie tank... I don't have another tank for a tang if this guy is evil lol :O

A healthy powder brown is a terror, that's just normal unfortunately

LOL is there some sort of non-contagious fish STD I can give him then?

Put a mirror on the end of the tank. I have to do this with every addition because my PBT. He fights himself for a while and gets used to seeing the new fish then I take the mirror down and no problems. It’s worth a shot

Yes, while in QT try the mirror trick

Agreed with the mirror. It is an easy fix if it does work. I tried it with an aggressive Yellow and it never worked the way I hoped it would, but it sure doesn't hurt to try.

The whole tank is mirror like due to insulation wrap :o
