My PC rainbow frag has started discoloring and I’m not sure what it is any help would be greatly appreciated!

Tank parameters
Alk - 9.3
Calc- 440
Magnesium- 1450
Nitrate - 5
Phosphate - 0.05
Par is around 200

It was in a very high flow area and I’ve moved it to a still high flow area but not nearly as harsh.

Is it possible that this is just an acclimation issue? Just looks like typical color loss for a frag to me. Sometimes it can take weeks/months before they color up nicely after being fragged.
It’s been in my tank for about 4 months and it was a tiny tiny frag but encrusted nicely and started coloring up then it just recently started losing color

good switch as it can be elevated flow rate along with Low dissolved oxygen, changes in brand of salt, bad test kits giving faulty results and low levels of minor elements such as Iodine, Potassium, Strontium.

I see. What kind of PAR do you think it’s getting on the rack. I ask because if it’s been in a lower PAR setting then it would like it might start to lose color. Have you considered an ICP test? Trace element or lights would be my suspicion.

On the rack it’s in the 200’s definitely not over 300. But it’s been growing nicely or at least encrusting with no issues till now.
