PE on acros

Is it normal for acropora to all have no PE in my tank apart from montis and tenuis?, the others like merlin's staff and pc rainbow all dont have any PE, used to have PE at night but i noticed it stopped extending even at night, they all used to extend when i first got them and even during lights on

Have you checked for Red Bugs and such?

no visible red bugs, i got all my acros from someone else's estabished tank
