Hi,

I think one of those tank inhabitants must have bumped into a pectinia branch and broken it. It is still attached and the damage is almost unnoticeable we’re it not for subtle movements I noticed.

The flesh of the broken section looks intact, inflates and otherwise appears healthy.

Should I do something about it?

If so, what course of action? I don’t like to touch or move things once they are set so that’s why I’m asking for second opinions.

Much appreciated.

If you can Confirm The skeleton snapped off, and it’s not new growth, you should be able to Frag it off.
you’ll be well on your way to
“Fragstar Millionaire” lol

I’ll reach and see if it jiggles tomorrow.

I have a frag kit, but didn’t expect to use it so soon. Would I use the bone cutters to snip through the flesh and glue the piece to a drag plug?

What about the larger piece? Do I need to remove it from the tank and dip it or something?

thanks,
