I see these and freak out that they are aiptasia, how does one know the difference?

THere is quite a noticeable difference. Apitasia will have longer tentacles that comes to a point. Feather dusters have more of a fan like appearance. Also apitasia won't have a calcium tube, feather dusters will :)
