I am considering adding the 6040 to my 14 gallon nano, but one concern of mine is whether the unit retains its settings during a power outage? My fear is that it may reset into a much more powerful state after an outage, and in a small tank this could spell disaster. I realize the nobs clearly set a mechanically based setting, but if the mode changes I could see potentially other issues occurring. Any thoughts to alleviate my fears? . Or is this simply too much flow power for such a small nano?
