Any ideas on what could be eating this digi? Been in the tank a couple months with no issues, until a couple days ago.
Thx

check parameters and clean powerheads first. Montipora eating nudibranchs can do that, but hopefully its not a pest

Been trying to look for the nudis so far haven’t noticed anything.
Have a couple monti that are doing great
Have a plating monti that I just recently moved lower as it was loosing all its color

Please post the parameters if you can, could help. Monti nudibranchs are very hard to find sometimes and like to hide until the dead of night, i mean like 3 am before they come out sometimes

purchased 2 Monti over the past 3 months, one from Jason Fox and one from TSA. Both were dipped in revive for 10 min.
Seemed like these would be 2 trusted and clean vendors

shouldnt but they could have come in on them or another coral, dips only kills some of the adults, the eggs live through dips

What are some good wrasse choices to take care of the problem? Seems to be a lot of negative press relating to the 6 line

if it ends up being pests, still unsure rn, wrasse wont usually eradicate the problem fully. It might help a bit either melanarus or yellow coris are usually good pest controllers

I cant imagine either of those vendors having pests. Jf is super strict with his coral quarantine procedures and im pretty sure tsa is too. And if you still havent spotted anything, unless you added live rock, you probably dont have any. It could be a lighting/flow/parameter issue.

Seems more likely to be low light (especially since it's happening from the bottom up) or an alk swing a month ago...

No point in speculating without the exact parameters, though.
