Picked up some free coral today and lots of interesting finds. There was a hard white nest looking thing that I had to pry open to find something mushy inside. The hole was a perfect circle inside too. Anyone know what this is?

Looks like a Barnacle if embedded a Limpet if on the surface.

There were two and both dug out perfect circular holes in the coral

I doubt it was a Gall Crab but I suppose it is possible, probably Barnacle but I need a clearer image.

Ill take a pic tom and show u , lol i never disected an acro like that before beside fraggin but i have about 40 of those wierd crowns with barnacles fanning out of it supprized there still alive , they usually die after 3 months
