I think I made a thread about this twice but it’s only getting bigger and I’m becoming more worried. I’ve heard that it’s harmless but I just wanted to make sure it’s not a pest. Is it a pest or should I just leave it alone? IMG_4583.jpeg IMG_4581.jpeg

I researched a bit more and learned it could be detritus burning a hole through the tissue. I tried blowing it with a turkey baster and picking it out with scissors, but i was only able to get a little bit out.

I think I see something similar on my toadstools every now and then. That bit will usually end up curling around and sometimes even disappears on its own. I like to take a turkey baster and gently blow off any detritus build up on my toadstools when I do my maintenance. They can be finnicky but overall are real hardy coral

Ok thank you. Did I do anything stupid by trying to pluck it out with scissors? Lol
