Most of the time yes gobies are usually fine and you do find good clean fish every once in a while but now i only buy online liveaquaria

The pessimist in me says they are able to sell those tanks for 1 dollar per gallon because of the profits they make on selling sick saltwater fish with ZERO refund policy on sick saltwater fish. :rolleyes: Weird how live aquaria is owned by Petco and does offer a 14 day policy. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I bought a 40 breeder a couple months ago, it wasn't a dollar a gallon but on sale for 50.00 bucks. I drilled it for a bean animal setup. About a hour after drilling it it cracked from top to bottom right threw one of the holes. Then a few hours after that I heard a loud snap, thinking it cracked again I found that the plastic frame had cracked on the top and in 2 places on the bottom.
Weird, still trying to figure out what caused it.
Oh I also got a purple tang with velvet at no extra charge around that time.

Yes very weird also size of the fish doesn’t matter in Petco & liveaquaria does
Also how liveaquaria is starting dry goods competing with foster and smith

I am in Medford, I just spent a couple months in Vegas visiting my sons family. That is where we bought and drilled the breeder it was for a QT tank. Many fish stores down there came back with a bunch of corals.

I gave him a bunch of aquariums store shelving Bird cagesand other things when I was moving.
I also loaned him My RO unit and he was suppose to keep my 125 gallon reef tank with fish and corals as a display tank. Whwn he opened his first store then he just disappeared,
Last I heard from him he called to see if he could sell some of my RBTA I had 6 of them when I stopped by to collect my part of the money the store was gone.

Was that 125 a large cube tank full of tangs, etc.? It was the only tank he had going just before he closed up. It looked awfully crowded and badly in need of a cleaning. Felt bad for the fish.

How did you drill the tank did you put a support block under the glass that you were drilling
Did you drill the holes too close to the top
or too close to each other

It’s possible it had a crack on top before you started

I bet a lot of people buying these tanks are probably doing freshwater. Petco said they would leave DF&S alone and it appears so far they are letting them do their own thing.
